CLUB INFO

WHO WE ARE

Claudelands Rovers Football Club was formed in 1923 by local shop owners in the Claudelands area. In the 1980’s both Women’s and Juniors football were incorporated.  We regularly field 10+ Senior Men’s and Women’s, 4+ Federation Youth and 20+ Junior football teams with a membership of over 450.

Our top Men’s senior team plays in the Northern Region Football League (NRFL) Southern Conference. This includes teams from the Waikato and Bay of Plenty area. The Southern Conference also has an U23’s division we we also compete in. The remaining Senior Men’s teams all play in the local WaiBOP divisional competitions. The top Women’s team plays in the WaiBOP W-League. The other Senior Women’s team play in the WaiBOP Division 1 and 2 leagues.

Community is at the heart of what we do. Our focus is to provide opportunities for all players from junior through to social and premier senior grades. As a prominent football club in Hamilton, we are strong advocates for Junior and Youth development within our own club, local schools and other communities.

2023 marked our Centenary Year, with plenty of fun and celebrations.

In 2025 we have lots more to look forward to and we remember 30 years since Balon D’or winner and England star Kevin Keegan appeared in a Rovers shirt back in 85″, help us enjoy these memories and to create some new ones.
